MEETINGS AT LUNCH TODAY:

*  Are you a STAR? Do you want to be? The Jesuit Admissions Office is recruiting students to assist with school visitations for the Fall Semester 2008. STAR is short for Student Team for Admissions Recuitment. Interested students are welcome to attend a meeting in the Choral Room. Students should be outgoing, have good public speaking skills and be able to miss class once or twice a week during September of 2008. Training and supplemental information will be provided. Any questions should be directed to Mr. Lane.

*  Liturgy Planning Committee:  LPC will hold a brief meeting. to distribute shirt money.  The model of the new chapel will also be on display. We will discuss floor plan for all who are interested.  We will meet in the Choral Room hallway.

 

MEETINGS AFTER SCHOOL TODAY:

*  Reminder Liturgy Workshop XXIX:  There is a MANDATORY Baccalaureate rehearsal in the Choral Room

 

FUTURE MEETINGS:

*  Carmazzi-Leidich Christian Life Community: Meet Thursday during lunch in SAC conference Room.

 

ATHLETICS: 

* ALL Freshman and JV Baseball players come to the Weight Room at the start of lunch today to complete coaches evaluations.

SENIORS:

*  Seniors in Christian Service:  this is your LAST WEEK at your service sites.  Remember to get your time sheets & evaluations signed by your supervisors.  Next Monday is the last reflection group where these 2 papers and your final essay are due.

* Attention all Kairos Alums: Reunion for all alums of ’08 retreats at Saint Francis this Thursday, 5/15/08, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Food, Music, and Friends for on last reunion. For RSVP/Questions, contact Matt Tarzwell, or Drew Thomsen.

 

GENERAL:

*  Book Buy Backs will take place May 20-22 for all students, with a special buy-back opportunity for Seniors only on May 23rd.  See the bookstore for exact times and instructions.

*  Camp Counselors:  Anyone interested in working as a camp counselor for the summer in the Jesuit basketball camps please see Mr. Harcos prior to finals.

*  Anyone in need of work study hours and willing to work May 30 – June 1 helping with a basketball tournament here at Jesuit, please see Mr. Harcos prior to finals.  Opportunity to earn up to 24 hours.

*  New Book Store Hours:  May 1 to May 19:  Mon.-Thurs.  7:50 am – 8:10 am, and Friday’s during break.

*  ALL Instruments MUST be turned into Mr. Ginter PERSONALLY by Friday, May 16 or JUGS will begin Friday after school, one more for each day they are late.  An instrument in the closet, or one brought in without checking in with Mr. Ginter personally are not considered turned in.  You must be checked off the list by Friday or it's JUG City.

*  Please Note:   THE LIBRARY WILL BE OPEN AFTER LUNCH TODAY.  ON THURSDAY, 5/14, THE LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED AT 8:10 A.M. AND REMAIN CLOSED THE REST OF THE DAY.

*  ALL LIBRARY MATERIALS ARE DUE!  Return them to be cleared for final exams and graduation.

*  Glen Oaks Swim Club is hosting a Concert on May 30 @ 5:00 pm to benefit Breast Cancer research/treatment.  $10 donation.  Contact Tom Huber for more information.
