2009 Alumni Summit

Jesuit High School has reached a point in its evolution where institutional maturation and a change in the culture of alumni giving must take place.  Parent support for Jesuit’s operating needs as well as capital projects has been extraordinary. Largely through their generosity, the Annual Fund and PACE Auction now provide nearly $2 million each year in operational support.  While select alumni have also played a critical role in this growth, overall alumni support has lagged.

While alumni giving statistics have struggled, the potential growth in this area is both startling and exciting.  A quick look at some of the Jesuit schools across the country illustrates the remarkable impact that results when a professional, organized appeal campaign meets a committed, mature alumni constituency.  The alums of those schools are both figuratively and literally driving their schools to the forefront of Catholic secondary education.

Now, as Jesuit begins implementation of its new long-range plan, the time is right to take the next steps to solidify the continued growth and success of Jesuit High School.
